Pratt, Roy Arnold – Age 87, of Truro, passed away suddenly on March 15, 2015, at home. He was the fifth of seven children born to the late Wallace and Alice (Crowe) Pratt. In his younger years, he helped with the home farm and worked in the woods before going into the electrical construction trade; lastly, he was a self-taught radio/television repairman. Up to the present, he sponsored several World Vision children, and gave to many charities.
He is survived by his brother, Bert (Linda), Hilden; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by siblings, Carl, Ruth, Evelyn, Jim and Keith.
As he chose, cremation has taken place, with burial at a later date in Belmont Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
