Wilson, James Timothy – Age 82, East Chezzetcook, passed away peacefully, on June 2, 2015, in Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital, Musquodoboit Harbour, with his family at his side. Born on February 2, 1933, in Goose River, P.E.I., he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Jane (McInnis) Wilson. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 56 years, Blanche (Jamieson); his children, Tina (Lloyd), Tim (Sue), Margaret (Gerald), Janie (Dale); his 12 grandchildren; and five, soon to be six, great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many good friends.
He will be fondly remembered for his wit, charm, gentleness, wisdom, storytelling, and great bear hugs. Jimmy was an avid gardener who loved nature, animals, and children.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be held on Friday at 11 a.m., in St. Anselm’s Catholic Church, West Chezzetcook, with Father Randy Doucette officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, your local Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
