Fleet, Mary Louise Anne – Age 76 of Halifax, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2017, in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Lucy (Dunn) Oickle.
She had a keen sense of humour and was always ready with snappy comebacks. Her family was the core of her being, and she displayed a strong sense of morals to all.
She will be loved and sadly missed by husband, Wilfred; daughters, Tanya and Alice; son, Russell; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Beverly Crowell, Jean (Steve) Warner, Joan Meade, Helen O’Hearn; daughter-in-law, Karen. She was predeceased by daughter, Elizabeth; son, Sonny; brothers, Joe and Russell; granddaughter, Olive.
Cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
