Evangeline Mae “Vangie” Langille

Langille, Evangeline Mae “Vangie” – Age 77 of Truro, passed away on July 23, 2018, at home, surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Pansy (Ettinger) McCallum.

She loved spending time with her family, friends near and far, and her four-legged pets. Vangie enjoyed bingo, camping, reading, and working in her flower gardens.

She will always be loved and missed by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert “Bob”; children, Kathy (Karen Mills), Bible Hill; Bobby (Joan), Tatamagouche; Michelle (Tony) Richards, Onslow Mountain; grandchildren, John (Barya), Adam (Rhian), both of Alberta; Holly (Chris), Prince Edward Island; great-grandchildren, Soraya, Brin, Lucas, and Jade; sisters, Violet, Gerry, Fern, Diane, Bonnie, Iris; and bother, Butch. She was predeceased by brother, Ivan.

Cremation has taken place. All are welcome to attend a graveside service on Saturday, July 28th, at 11 a.m. in Bible Hill Cemetery, with Rev. Donna Lawrence officiating. A celebration of her life will follow in Bible Hill Fire Hall from 12-2 p.m. Family flowers only, please. Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or SPCA would be appreciated.
