Findlay (Poteri), Betty L. – Age 86, of Upper Musquodoboit, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 11, 2018.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Elaine (Donnie) Whitenect, Susan Lillico; son, Stuart (Michelle) Poteri; brother, Dean; sisters, Shirley (Lyall) Kaulbach, and Sharon McRae. She was a loving grandmother of Jason, Jennifer, and Bradley; great-grandmother of Jeremy, Sophia, Davrine, Ethan, Emmett, and Fynn. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Arnold and Gertrude Stewart; husband, Delton Findlay; sister, Marie; grandson, Dean; son-in-law, Dwight.
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Betty’s wishes there will be a private graveside service. Memorial donations may be made to The Lung Association Nova Scotia or Canadian Cancer Society.
Many thanks to the Northwood Homecare workers and Dr. Barry Giffin for helping Mom stay in her home during her final battle.
