Parker, Gordon “Ralph” – The passing of a loved one is never easy to bear. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon “Ralph” Parker. He passed away peacefully at 88 years old on June 18th, 2025 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
Ralph is survived by his daughters, Julie Parker and Laura Piccinin; his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He will be joined in peace with his parents, Thomas and Susan (Dean) Parker; brothers, Jack, Henry, George, Robert and Ellis; sisters, Mary, Grace, Margaret, Maude, Gwen and Joyce; his wife of 60 years, Glorianna (Partridge); and daughter, Lisa.
Ralph was born in Upper Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia. He was a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend to many and will be deeply missed. He is fondly remembered for his funny stories, dry humour, unwavering strength and love of sports, especially baseball and hockey. He leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories that will forever be held close to the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
Family and friends will be received in The Simple Alternative Funeral Home at 1535 South Gateway Road in Mississauga, Ontario, on Friday, October 17, 2025, with visitation at 10:30 am, service at 11:30 am followed by a reception from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
