Hudson, Tony Kenneth – age 75, of Head Chezzetcook and formerly of Country Harbour, passed away June 14, 2025 in Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax.
Tony was a longtime employee of Ocean Contracting. He offered his help in the community whenever needed, was a member of Lake Echo Fellowship Baptist Church and particularly enjoyed the at home Bible studies. Tony was known for collecting all things Coca-Cola, squinting his eyes when he laughed or smiled, and a good day could only be made better with a feed of his favourite meal – KFC.
Tony truly enjoyed his family, and will always be loved and missed by his children, Terra (Sean) and Trevor; grandchildren, Courtney, Auldie, Hudson, Reed, Blake, Brooklyn and David; brother, Larry (Noreen); many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Sheldon and Alice (Crooks) Hudson, he was predeceased by his wife, Gwen; brother, Glen; step-father, Alden Cox.
Cremation has taken place.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 28 at 1 p.m. in Lake Echo Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Duncan officiating. A reception will follow the service. The committal of Tony and Gwen will be held at 5 p.m. in Musquodoboit Harbour Community Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
