Sieniewicz, Matthew Richard – We remember our son and friend, Matthew Richard Sieniewicz.
Born in Halifax, he was a son of Allan and Heather (Mackenzie) Sieniewicz.
Matt passed away at home in Shubenacadie on July 17, 2025 at the age of 41.
He is survived by his parents and half-sister, Angela.
He was predeceased by brother, Michael and sister, Emilee.
Matt is also survived by his many friends who love and miss him greatly.
He was an incredibly talented musician who was passionate about music and used that love of music to connect with his community. He could often be seen busking in Stewiacke and Elmsdale.
Through music and friendship, Matt made a lasting impact on a great many people and on the community as a whole.
We will all miss him.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 9 at 3 p.m. in Shubenacadie Legion Branch 111 with a brief interval for burial in Preeper Hill Cemetery at 5 p.m. for friends and family. For those who wish to continue celebrating Matt through friendship and music, the celebration will continue until 9 p.m.
