loving memory of Dale Max (Uncle Dale) McMullin. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dale McMullin, who left us on August 11 2025 at the age of 76. Born in Elmsvale, Dale grew up with a deep love for family, friends, and life’s simple joys. He had a remarkable way of making those around him feel valued – whether through his quick wit, a helping hand and the countless wise tales he would share. Dale was passionate about the outdoors from fishing and hunting. Dale loved spending quality time with his two nieces who he had a special bond with from the day he was given the title of being an Uncle. Dale spent many years working on a dairy farm, which he loved. You could often find Dale at the Saturday Jamborees where he loved to listen to fiddle and classic music. He is survived by his loving sisters, Dorothy (Johnny) and Paulette; his brothers, Fredrick and Dana (Theresa); and his cherished special nieces, Andrea and Morgan; many nieces and nephews; and special extended family, Roxanne Sutherland and Paulette Desgagne. Dale was predeceased by his father, Wilson McMullin; his mother, Lillian Isabelle McMullin; his brother in infancy; his sister, Leona; his brothers, Richard “Ricky” and David. He has been reunited with special companions, Captain, Tigger and Dixie. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that Dale’s laughter, love and gentle spirit will live on in all that knew him. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Dale’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
