Eagles, Harry William “Bill” – It is with heavy hearts that we remember and honour the life of Harry William “Bill” Eagles, a kind and gentle man who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Bill passed away on October 28, 2026 at the age of 80.
Bill was a hardworking man who valued the things that mattered most in life: family, love, and the simple pleasures that brought him happiness. He shared 52 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Bonnie, who held a very special place in his heart. His love and devotion to her were a beautiful reflection of the man he was.
Bill loved sitting around the camp fire with friends, always was the life of the camp ground and was a devoted Toronto Maple Leafs fan. These interests brought him joy and were a part of what made him uniquely himself.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Bonnie; his sister, Marilyn; and his nieces, grandnieces, and grandnephews, who will cherish his memory.
In keeping with Bill’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private family burial will take place.
Bill's gentle nature, quiet strength, strong work ethic, and deep love for his family will never be forgotten. Though his passing leaves a sadness in the hearts of those who loved him, the memories he leaves behind will remain a lasting source of comfort.
He will be remembered with love, missed more than words can express, and forever held close in the hearts of his family.
Rest peacefully, Bill. You will always be loved and never forgotten.
