Muriel "Molly" Catherine Ray (Woodin) Dean

Dean, Muriel “Molly” Catherine Ray (Woodin) – mother to Morley, Milton, Rebekah, Mary, Douglas, Garth and Layton, passed away peacefully in her sleep just shy of her 93rd birthday. She was a daughter of the late Arthur and Stella (Dean) Woodin, of Upper Musquodoboit.

Known for her kind disposition and love for her family, Molly will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was known to the community for her great baking and her kindness toward everyone.

Molly’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by her sons, Milton (Nora), Douglas (Wendy), Garth (Lisa) and Layton; her daughters, Rebekah (Tom Marshall) and Mary (Mike Harnish); as well as her loving grandchildren, Angela, Candice, Charlotte, Shelby, Clarissa, Dana and Bailey. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Leola Woodin, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Clyde and son, Morley; her brothers, Russell (Shirley) and Elwyn; as well as her sisters, Faye (John Logan), Linda (Norman Murray) and Karen (Brian Canning).

Per her request there will be no formal service.

There will be a private burial at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
