Holman, Eva Marlene (Higgins) – 86 years old, originally from Higginsville.
It is with broken hearts we share the sudden passing of our beloved mom/Grammie on Sunday, June 21, 2026 in Braeside Home for Special Care.
Eva lived a life full of love and countless adventures. Eva worked tirelessly in the dairy barn beside her late husband, Ronald for many years. She was a devoted mom and 4-H mom. You could always find Eva supporting her own children and many others from the community. You could always find her in the barn or out for walks with her dogs and grandchildren. Eva loved everything to do with nature and was happiest whilst outdoors.
Eva was a daughter of the late Melvin and Ester Higgins.
Eva is survived by her children, Joan (Barry), Murray (Dalyce), Judy (Pat), Garnet, Leslie (Kelly); siblings, Ellen (Albert), Charlie (Dianne), Linda (Tom), Dan (Ming); 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Holman; brothers, Rod and Richard.

There will be a Celebration of Life held to remember Eva on Sunday, July 5, 2026 in the Bicentennial Theatre from 1-3:30 p.m.
