Miller, Marlene Marjorie – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marlene Marjorie Miller, age 54, of Truro, on Friday, September 16, 2016.
Marlene had a favourite belief and it read as follows: “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand and champagne in the other; body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming “Woo hoo what a ride!” Marlene did it her way right to the end.
She was survived by her loving partner, of 14 years, Randy MacIntosh; brother, Lyle (Sue), Londonderry; sister, Gail, Ottawa, Ont.; stepfather, Foster Cook, Westville; her very special guardian angels, Betty Cox and Carolyn Creelman. She was predeceased by father, Curtis; mother, Marjorie; sister, Sharon; niece, Stacy.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit. No visitation or service by request. Thanks to all who attended Marlene’s celebration of life back in the spring at the Raceway Grandstand. Memorial donations may be made to Colchester East Hants Health Foundation-Palliative Care.
