Bob Steele William Power

Power, Bob Steele William - It is with great sadness that the family of Bob Power announce his sudden and unexpected passing, on the way to his cottage in Lake Charlotte on October 5, 2023.

Bob, age 73, was born to the late Fulton Power and Pearl (Meade) of East Jeddore. He is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Chris Aikens) and son, Jacob, both of whom he loved with all of his heart. He is also survived by his brothers, Tyrone, Ronald (Roseta) and Fulton (Diane) as well as his sisters, Darlene (Edward), Carolyn (Murray), Barbara (Troy), and Angel (Michael). He was predeceased by his sisters, Deborah and Jean. Bob loved his family so much and they loved him. He will be fondly remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Bob was a man of great faith and loved the Lord. He spent many years as a fisherman in East Jeddore; finding peace and tranquility on the water. He also enjoyed helping others with odd jobs and tackling projects, he wouldn’t hesitate to do anything to help anyone. Everyone who met Bob would become his buddy… he was a kind soul, who always saw the good in others. He loved to tease and tell jokes to make his family and friends laugh. We’ll remember him as the guy with a big heart who loved to have a good time…and we’ll miss him in his dancing shoes.

A funeral will take place in Jeddore United Baptist Church, Head Jeddore, on October 12 at 11 a.m. followed by a family committal in East Jeddore Cemetery. The family will meet friends downstairs in the church following the burial,

Donations in Bob’s honour may be made to a charity of choice.
