Harvie, Kenneth - age 84 of Truro, passed away on June 24, 2025 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Ken was loved and will be deeply missed by his wife, Gloria (Hines) Harvie; children, Wendy (Scott) Wise, Laurie (Rachel) Harvie; granddaughter, Holly (Erik) Scott; great-grandchildren, Landon, Claire, and Mason; and surviving brothers and sisters.
Besides his parents, Freeman and Harriet (Isenor), Ken was predeceased by his grandson, Ryan McMullen, 17-January-2021; and sister, Cleta (Harvie) Hines, 07-January-2023.
Ken worked at the National Gypsum for over 25 years. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Bluejays fan. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and a beer or glass of whiskey.
Cremation has taken place.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th at 11 a.m. A reception will follow the service in Dutch Settlement Hall.
