Henderson, Theresa Yvonne – Age 90 years, of Wynn Park Villa, Truro and formerly of Tatamagouche, passed away on June 7, 2025 in Wynn Park Villa.
Born in Pictou, Theresa was a daughter of the late John “Jack” and Yvonne Manzerolle Henderson.
She left for Toronto in the 1950’s where she worked for many years, retiring as a supervisor at Grainger’s Canada. Theresa then moved to Tatamagouche where she volunteered at Tatamagouche Elementary School in the library for a few years.
Better known as Little Aunt Theresa, she leaves behind her sister, Shirley Hiltz and several nieces and nephews in Ontario, Alberta and Nova Scotia.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Alvin “Buster” (Gloria) Henderson; sister, Lenore “Leona” (Donald) MacNeil; nephew, Donnie MacNeil; niece, Betty Ann MacNeil; and brother-in-law, Boyd Hiltz.
As per her request, there will be no funeral. A private burial will be held at a later date.
