Buggie, Ruth Marlene (Jennex) – Sadly, Ruth Marlene (Jennex) Buggie of Oyster Pond lost her 19-year battle with brain cancer on September 8, 2025, at the age of 56.
Ruth is survived by loving and devoted parents, John David Jennex and Marlene Leah Hazel (Arnold) Jennex; brothers, David (Charmaine) Jennex, Richard (Cheryl Bennett) Jennex, Paul (Jennifer Olson) Jennex; beloved daughters, Rhonda (Matthew Horton) Buggie, Amanda Buggie; grandsons, William Colp and Thomas Horton. She will be missed by her most special niece, Rory Jennex; step-nephew, Dustin (Sarah) Rudolph; special niece, Shawntelle (Chris Morgan) Rudolph; step-nephews, Romeo and Casy Rudolph; father-in-law, George Buggie; many special aunts, uncles and cousins in the Jeddore and Sambro areas.
She was predeceased by grandparents, John George Jennex and Mary Isabella (Arnold) Jennex.
Ruth worked at Dalmy’s clothing store and Memory Lane Heritage Village, and as a babysitter and school monitor.
A visitation will be held in Jeddore United Baptist Church, 8 West Jeddore Road on September 19, 2025, 1-1:45 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. with Reverend Aubrey Deslatte officiating. A reception will be held downstairs following the funeral. Burial will be in Oyster Pond Baptist Cemetery, 286 East Jeddore Road.
Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Jeddore United Baptist Church.
