Kaulback, Muriel Frances – Muriel Frances Kaulback passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, at the age of 90.
Born in 1935, Muriel was a daughter of Elizabeth Mae Wally and George Edward Conrad. In 1955, she married Aubrey Norman Kaulback, with whom she shared her life until his passing in 2009.
Muriel is survived by her brother, Ivor Conrad; her daughter, Deborah Kaulback; her grandchildren, Daniel Hebb and Jennifer Hebb; and her great-grandson, Kaius Hebb.
Muriel was kind, intelligent, shy, and creative. She was an accomplished seamstress, gardener, baker, tole painter, and furniture refinisher. She took great pride and care in creating a warm, nurturing home for her family.
Muriel and Aubrey travelled and built their family together through a variety of military postings, eventually returning home to Middle Musquodoboit.
Muriel lived a full life, rich with love and affection for her friends, family, neighbours, and her cherished dog, Happy. She will be remembered for her quiet strength, gentle nature, and the kindness she extended to all who knew her.
A small graveside service will be held in June 2026.
