Arnold Roy Thompson passed away December 30th, 2025 at the age of 85, in Braeside Home for Special Care with his family by his side. Arnold worked at Acadia University for over forty years being a janitor and other trades. He also cleaned doctor offices on the weekends. Left to cherish his memory are daughter, Tanya (Howie); son, Arnie (Kim); grandchildren, Kayla (Nate); Malcolm (Hannah) and great-granddaughter, Sadie; Justin (Kerissa); Travis (Daniella) and great-grandchildren, Judy and Logan; Arnie Blake (Carys); Katie (Justin) and baby to be; and Tyler; sister, Leola; brother John. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Lilly (King) Thompson; brother, Allan and sister, Gladys. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit. A graveside burial will be held in the spring in Gaspereau Cemetery for immediate family.
