Logan, Myrtle “Faye” – Age 95, of Upper Musquodoboit passed away at home on January 5, 2026.
Born in Upper Musquodoboit, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Estella (Dean) Woodin.
Faye was a faithful community member where she belonged to St. James United Church, was a member of the choir, UCW and Women’s Institute. She enjoyed many travel adventures with her husband of 69 years, John, which included snowmobiling, golfing, cottage life, RVing and winters in Florida. She enjoyed hosting Monday bridge games at her home.
Surviving are her sister, Muriel Dean; sisters-in-law, Leola Woodin, Erminie Morash, Dawn (Lester) Archibald; brother-in-law, Clarence (Kaye) Logan; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by husband, John; brothers, Russell, Elwyn; sisters, Lynda Murray, and Karen Canning.
Cremation has taken place.
Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Sharon Presbyterian Church, Dean. A gathering of friends and family will follow in Upper Musquodoboit Fellowship Hall. Burial will be at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery, Upper Musquodoboit.
