Watson, Catherine “Alice” – age 63 of Chaswood, passed away November 4, 2026 in QEII VG Site, Halifax following a brief illness.
Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Catherine (MacDonald) West and the late Lee West.
Alice was a dedicated wife and mother and her home was her life. In the last couple of years, she was a director of British Home Children and Descendents Association and a member of Ruby Slippers Crown Jewels Society. She recently enjoyed going to Meat Bingo in Truro.
Besides her mother, she always will be missed by her children, Cheryl (Dave), Bonnie (Jody), Nicole (Barrett), Robbie; grandchildren, Catherine, Stanley, Lucas, Lincoln, Logan, Lennox; sisters, Annette (Scott), Angela (Leo); brother, Danny (Serena); sisters-in-law, Lori, Shelley; and brother-in-law, Jamie.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lester; son, Nicholas James Lee “Jimmie Lee”; brother, Chris.
Cremation has taken place.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no funeral service.
Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
