Patriquin, Jennie Ruth – Age 72 of Truro, passed away February 1, 2026 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Tatamagouche, N.S., she was a daughter of Archie and Ester Langille.
Jennie is survived by her daughters, Tracy Reitsma (Cary), PEI; Krista Patriquin, Alberta; grandsons, MacKenzie and Cameron Reitsma; granddaughter, Tamara Doucette; great-granddaughters, Arya and Leeanna Doucette; sisters, Gloria Swan (Myles), Balfron; Paulette Wallace (Gary), Debert; and brother, Dale Langille (Jeannine), Hilden.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jack Patriquin; daughter, Samantha Doucette; granddaughter, Patricia Rose Fleming; sister, Greta Bennett, BC; brother, Wayne Langille, Alberta.
Jennie was known for her generosity, gardening, knitting and quilting. She was a long-time member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
There will be no memorial service at her request.
