Kenneth Lawrence Lemmon

Lemmon, Kenneth Lawrence – age 75, of Upper Musquodoboit, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026 in Q.E.II Halifax Infirmary surrounded by the love of his family, following complications from surgery. Born in Middle Musquodoboit, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Eva (MacDonnell) Lemmon.

Kenny spent his working years in the forestry industry with most years as a machine operator. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and his friends. Many hours Kenny spent playing music with his friends at kitchen parties or in the local nursing homes. Kenny was a member of Sharon Presbyterian Church where he served as a session member and manager for many years. He had been a member of Dean Citizens on Patrol for 25 plus years. Kenny had a passion for maple syrup production and enjoyed talking to his repeat customers each year.

His family and grandchildren meant the world to him. He will always be loved and missed by his wife of 55 years, Peggy (Wright); sons, Andy (Sandy), Jody (Tammie), Cory (Mary); grandchildren, Jessica (Dana), Emma (TJ), Cameron (Emma), Noah and Dayna; siblings, Francis (Blanche), Royce, Marilyn (Raye), Kathy (Cyril), Susan (Anthony), Pam (Stephen); sisters-in-law, Sharon, Glenda, Sue, Kathy. He was predeceased by siblings, Robert, Rollie, Darrell, Ronnie; grandson, Ethan.

Cremation has taken place.

Funeral service will be Monday at 3 p.m. in Sharon Presbyterian Church, Dean with Rev. David LeBlanc officiating. Family burial will be held in Lemmon Hill Cemetery.
