DeWolfe, Kevin James – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin James DeWolfe at the age of 69, surrounded by his family.
Born in Halifax and raised in Gays River, he was a son of the late Caroline and James DeWolfe.
Kevin enjoyed building things and could often be found working on projects, fixing things around him, or working on his beloved truck. He had a love for animals and took great joy in the simple things in life. Kevin also loved music—singing, yodeling, and playing his harmonica. Some of his happiest moments were spent dancing around with his children, making memories that they will carry with them forever.
He leaves behind his children, Andy, Crystal, Kim (Blake), Lisa, Jennifer, Mary (Will), Victoria (Sheldon), Dallas (Sarah), Joanne (Emma), Sharay, Rayann, Carter, Cerena, Norman, Kohen; step-children, Jaylyn, Lennex; brothers, John (Carrie), David (Leah); sisters, Kim (Duane) and Beverly; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews, including his special niece, April.
Kevin was predeceased by his sons, Kevin Jr., Jeremy; brothers, Bruce, Barry, Lyle; sisters, Eileen and Rebecca.
Cremation has taken place.
In keeping with Kevin’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
