Miller, Blanche Roberta – Age 88, formerly of Lantz, passed away October 27, 2014, in The Magnolia Long Term Care, Enfield. Born in Upper Nine Mile River, she was a daughter of the late John and Mabel (MacPhee) Blois. She leaves to mourn her passing, daughter, Charlotte (Don) MacLeod, Alberta; son, Blaine (Kitty), Elmsdale; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Jimmy Thompson, Bridgewater. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry; daughter, Karen; grandson, Derek; son-in-law, Loran Ashley. The last surviving member of her family, she was also predeceased by siblings, Ross, Annie, and Dorothy.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit. In keeping with Blanche’s wishes, there will not be any visitation. A graveside service will be held at a later date. No flowers by request. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
