Wilson, Timothy Grant – Age 56, Carrolls Corner. It is with saddened hearts that we had to say goodbye to our dad, brother, son and papa on November 10, 2014. Born in Lantz, Timmy was a son of Earl Wilson and the late Tena (Isenor) Wilson. Tim’s dedication was not only with his family, but his employer, The Shaw Group Ltd., where he worked for 36 years, starting out as a labourer and then a brick sorter. In 1983, he became a transport driver, the position he held at the time of his death.
He leaves behind his children, Grant (Kenzie), Carrolls Corner; Cuyler (Melissa), Peace River, Alta.; Amber (Gordie), Carrolls Corner; grandchildren, Hunter and Linkin, who will miss him very much; siblings, Darrell (Vallee), Truro; Becky, Stewiacke; Tena, Enfield; Robert (JoAnn), Lantz; Murray, Stewiacke; Derek, Grande Prairie, Alta.; James (Debbie), Nine Mile River; many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be Friday from 7-9 p.m., and funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m., both in St. Bridget’s Catholic Church, Shubenacadie, Father Tom Kurudeepan OMI officiating. A reception will follow in Elmsdale Legion. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or The Children’ Wish Foundation of Canada.
