Jeffrey Ambrose Forbes

Forbes, Jeffrey Ambrose - The family of Jeffrey Ambrose Forbes of Middle Musquodoboit (formally Enfield) regrets to announce his passing on April 28, 2025 after a valiant fight with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).

Jeff is survived by his children, Connor, Cowen and Rebecca of Middle Musquodoboit. He was predeceased by his wife, Natasha (MacEachen). Jeff is also survived by his siblings, David (Cathie Bell), Joseph (Nancy), Judith Mason (John), Catherine, Jerome Horne (Heather), Kenneth; mother- and father-in-law, Donald and Judy MacEachen of Long Point; and sister-in-law, Juleen (MacEachen) Pottie of Port Hawkesbury. Jeff was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Aside from his wife, Jeff was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Lorraine (Horne) Forbes.

Jeff was an avid fisher and hunter. He loved spending time at the camp with his siblings and his children. Jeff worked for many years for Maurice Sporting Goods and then Big Rock Sporting Goods, travelling the Atlantic Provinces setting up seasonal displays for the outdoor adventurer.

Visitation will be held May 7, 2025 from 10 – 10:45 a.m. in St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Enfield, followed by mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Stewiacke East.

Memorial donations may be made to the Musquodoboit Valley Food Bank or Pine Grove Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
