Johnson, Louis “Louie” Dwight – It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Louis “Louie” Dwight Johnson on May 16, 2025, at the age of 75.
Born in Truro, Louie was a son of the late Lloyd and Josephine (Richard) Johnson of Londonderry, Colchester County, who shaped the kind and caring person he would become.
Louie is survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many lifelong friends.
Besides his parents, Louie was predeceased by brother, Arthur; sister, Joanne (Bam) Joseph and the love of his life, Rose Richards.
Louie lived and worked most of his life in Londonderry, working at L&M Highland Outfitters for many years. He took pride in every piper’s bag he stitched.

Cremation has taken place.
There will be a graveside gathering in St. Ambrose Cemetery, Londonderry, followed by a Celebration of Life on July 19 in Londonderry Hall, 1 – 4 p.m.
