Lynds, Dorothy H. (Seeton) – It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing on October 12, 2026 of Dorothy H. (Seeton) Lynds after her battle with cancer.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Everett; daughter, Rhonda; sister, Helen Black; brothers, Harold, Fred and Floyd Johnson.
She was predeceased by her son, Richard; parents, Oscar and Grace; brothers, Douglas, Reginald, Edward and George.
We would like to thank Dr. Rowe and the oncology department at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Also, the doctors and staff of the Palliative Care Unit. A very special thanks to our family doctor, Dr. B. Chalati. And a very special thanks to our daughter, Rhonda.
Cremation has taken place.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17 at 2 p.m. in Truro Heights United Baptist Church, 343 Truro Heights Road with Pastor Brian Johnston officiating.
Donations may be made to Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer Society.
