Bruce "Buzzie" Howard Warner

Warner, Bruce Howard “Buzzie” – Buzzie/Dad/Bampers completed his journey on August 27, 2026 at home per his wishes, surrounded by his family.

Born and raised in Porters Lake, Nova Scotia, he was a son of the late Howard and Velma (Bonn) Warner.

Buzzie will be greatly missed by his wife of 45 years, Marny (Seward) Warner; children, Mary Cormier (Matt), Carmen Sampson (Brian), Mike Warner (Korryn), John Warner (Becky); and his sister, Nancy Webbink (Pieter). He was the best grandfather to grandchildren, Grace, Anna, Madeline, Kamryn, Charley, Maddox, Jack, and Axel, who will miss playing Chase the Ace with their Bampers. He will also be missed by his nephews, Brendon, Scott, Shane Webbink; and niece, Karen Collin.

We are sad to say goodbye to our dad, a man of simple pleasures – he loved a coffee and Baileys, listening to music in the garage, and spending time with his family (until he got tired of us). We have many great memories of spending time at the camp, tubing on the lake, and tagging along to Dad’s softball games. As adults, we loved having a drink with him and playing a game of cards. We will miss his sarcasm, humour, and sharp wit. Dad was who he was, and accepted everyone for who they were. He was kind, welcoming, and had a big heart.

Join us to say farewell to Buzzie in Gaetz Brook Legion at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026.

“Don’t dress up, I might not recognize you” – Buzzie.
