Crowe, Reginald Roy – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Reginald Roy Crowe, age 63, of Truro. He passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, surrounded by family and friends. Born in Truro and raised in Brookfield, he was a son of the late Bernard and Lenna (Isenor) Crowe.
Reg was employed as a cellarman with Andrew Peller Ltd., where he took great pride in his work. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, gardening, baking, and attending Pembroke Music Festival. He loved gifting baked goods at Christmastime and sharing fresh vegetables from his garden with everyone he knew. In his younger years, Reg enjoyed curling and playing softball with the Truro Brew Jays. Everyone who knew him, whether as a friend, co-worker, or neighbour, will miss him dearly.
Reg is survived by his children, Shannon (Tomas) Guinan and Marcy Crowe; grandchildren, Kai, Eden, and Dominic; brothers, Colie (Donna) and David (Kim); and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Diane, Jimmy, Michael, and Karen.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 12, from 1–4 p.m. in Truro Horsemen’s Club, Bible Hill.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
